Meet Thomas Yannetti

Director of Financial Planning | Advisor CFP®, MSFP, ChFC®, RICP®, WMS℠

Thomas is originally from Northern New Jersey and grew up in a family rooted in public service and helping others — a foundation that shaped his dedication to making a difference. He became the first student at Ramapo College of New Jersey to double major in Finance and Accounting, setting the stage for his future success. To further refine his skills, he earned a Master of Science in Financial Planning (MSFP) from The American College of Financial Services, positioning himself as a highly knowledgeable advisor.

Since beginning his career in financial services in 2019, Thomas has built a reputation for delivering client-focused solutions that prioritize his clients’ unique goals and values. In 2022, he relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida, to expand his practice and serve the local community, and in 2024 he joined Taylor Financial as Director of Financial Planning — a partnership that has elevated his ability to offer comprehensive, personalized financial planning services.

Thomas specializes in working with business owners, executives, and their families. He provides a range of solutions, including tax-saving strategies, custom investment portfolio management, retirement income planning, multigenerational wealth transfer, and business planning. His clear, practical approach ensures his clients feel confident and empowered as they navigate their financial journeys.

He holds his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification along with the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®), and Wealth Management Specialist (WMS℠) designations — a credential set that reflects deep, ongoing study across investments, insurance, tax, retirement income, and estate planning.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Thomas is an active member of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club, where he enjoys golf, fishing, and connecting with fellow members who share his love for the outdoors. A passionate endurance athlete, he competes in Ironman triathlons and ultra-marathons, embodying resilience, focus, and a commitment to excellence — qualities that define his approach to both life and financial planning.

Giving back has long been part of who Thomas is — during his years in New Jersey, he served as Vice President of the Board of Education for the South Hackensack Memorial School District and as a volunteer firefighter.

Reach out to Thomas if you’re a business owner, executive, or family looking for a disciplined, detail-driven planner who will build a strategy around your tax situation, investments, retirement income, and long-term legacy goals.
